Mixed Signals

Holding on to words. Trustworthy. Drive to go on. Appreciation for efforts.

Stop acting that everything is fine if it isn’t. It’s okay to fall apart for a little while. You don’t always have to pretend to be strong, and there is no need to constantly prove that everything is going well. You shouldn’t be concerned with what other people are thinking either. Cry if you need to, it’s healthy to shed your tears. The sooner you do, the sooner you will be able to smile again.

Let things go. Release them. Detach yourself from them. Nobody plays this life with marked cards, so sometimes we win, and sometimes we lose. Do not expect anything in return. Do not expect your efforts to be appreciated, your genius to be discovered, your love to be understood. In the end, only three thing matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.

You can be lonely even when you are loved by many people, since you are still not anybody’s one and only.

  1. You start life with a clean slate. Then you begin to make your mark. You face decisions, make choices. You keep moving forward. But sooner or later there comes a time where you look back over where you have been and wonder who you really are.

  2. When your sure you’ve had enough of this life… don’t let yourself go… because everybody cries… everybody hurts sometimes… sometimes everything is wrong.

  4. 18. I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe, we’ll never know most of them. But even if we don’t have the power to choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there. We can still do things. And we can try to feel okay about them.
